The 2010 National Convention will be held July 5-11, hosted by the Santa Rosa #50 club, and held at the Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa. This year’s convention will be combined with the Active 20-30 International and WOCO conventions.

The old playground was burned to the ground by arsonists last year. When the Active 20-30 Club of Sacramento No.1 hosted the 20-30 national convention in Cabo last year, they collected “Pennies…-a-day” funds from each club across the country. Those funds, over $8,000 in all, went towards the playground. 75 volunteers from Club No.1 and Club #1032, along with a group of local high school students, volunteered their time to build the playground.
